eleven (11) Vanessa Quai started collecting Musical Awards.
1998:
At the age of 10, Vanessa won the
“Vanuatu-Japan Junior Chamber Music
Competition”.

1999:
At the age of 11, she won
third prize
“South Pacific
International Song Contest 99”,
held in Queensland in Australia, with her song “I was Lost”.
1999:
Vanessa again won the
First prize
in the
“Nile International Children Music Festival”,
held in Cairo, Egypt, with her song “Beautiful Pacific Islands”.
2002:
At the age of 14, Vanessa won the
Second Prize
in the
“Golden Star – International Children
Music
Festival”,
held in Bucharest, Romania, with her song “Live In Peace And
Harmony”.
2004:
At the age of 16, Vanessa won the First
Prize in the
“Golden Star – International Teenagers Singing Competition”,
held in Bucharest, Romania, with her song “Sweet Angel”.
2005:
At the age of 17, she won the First Prize
in the adult category in the
“Golden Stag International Music Competition”, held in
Brasov, Romania with her song “Sweet Angel” infront of the
following members of the jury;Nick
Feldman - from BMG/Sony, Jill Paulsson - from Eurovision, Guy Fletcher
- the President of the British Music Academy

Impact
Vanessa has raised over a hundred
thousand dollars in the South Pacific countries for charity from 1998 to
2006.

2002:
Vanessa Quai broke the
crowd record history of any artist visited Solomon Islands, when she
drew over 15,000 people to her show at the Rove show ground in Honiara, to raise funds for the Solomon Islands National Sports athletes to the South Pacific Games in Fiji.
Vanessa’s song “Freedom” was on
number on the top chart on the radios throughout the South Pacific from
2002 to 2003.
2003:
Vanessa performed along
side the African queen artist, Brenda Fassie, at the Tjibaou, Cultural
Center, In New Caledonia.
2004:
Vanessa was the
guest Artist at the Australian National Annual Prayer Breakfast
(Australian Parliament House in Canberra, Australia) under the honorary invitation
of the Hon. Prime Minister Of Australia, Mr. John Howard.
The Vanuatu National Tourism Office
featured Vanessa and her two songs in its new promotional DVD edition of
2004.
Vanessa’s album
“Pasifika” was rated number 1, for 3 months on the charts
of the “Pacific Radio Station” at the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia

Conference held in Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia, Organized by CVC

Vanessa made history to be the first
Ni-Vanuatu to take part in the Alliance Francaisé Music Festival in
Fiji, and also the first Ni-Vanuatu performer drawing a crowd of over
7,000 in Suva.
Vanessa made an impact to her market
in the northern Queensland when She toured Northern Queensland,
Australia in April 2005.
2006:
Vanessa was the Guest Artist at the Global Village Venue at the
Australian Gospel Music Festival (AGMF) 2006. Vanessa, performed
alongside the Hillsong United at the closing combine Service on the main
stage.
Vanessa Quai's
song "Vanuaralamana" was voted to
